Abrasive disk kits offer grit size choices

Rex-Cut Products Inc. offers test kits that include eight cotton-fiber quick-change abrasive disks in coarse to fine grit sizes in a single holder for grinding, deburring, blending, and finishing most metals.

The disks are made from reinforced nonwoven cotton fiber impregnated with abrasive grains and then pressed and bonded together. Suitable for stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, and composites, they run cool and are long-lasting, the company says.

Packaged in plastic clamshell storage boxes, the kits come in 2-in. and 3-in. sizes with either Type R screw-on or Type S twist-on fasteners.
