As of 2008, Rex-Cut became 100% owned by its employees! Those loyal employees who have poured themselves into Rex-Cut over the years, now have reason to be even more invested in the products and service that leaves our premises.

Rex-Cut Products, Inc. is the oldest and primary manufacturer of cotton fiber abrasive grinding and finishing products in the world. Since the early 1920s, we have been manufacturing a non-woven cotton fabric, uniquely impregnated with abrasive grit. This “impregnating” process, originally invented by our founder Edward Hurst, has been refined over time and continues to comprise the base of our specialized cotton product abrasive line.

Our products are specialized for use on stainless steel, aluminum, mild steel, and exotic metals. In addition to cotton fiber abrasive grinding wheels, we offer many other specialty products for use on a variety of grinding, deburring, blending, and finishing applications.
